As we strive to broaden the minds of our youth about God‘s Holy Word, we also need to provide and developing leadership skills. Our primary concern is to teach our youth what it means to be a Christian, to care, share, and love and to reach out to others. Through effective programming, our youth can be trained in all aspects of Christian Ethics, effective planning, life skills and leadership.
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
~I Timothy 4:12
Chi Lambda Junior Fraternity/ Sorority is to bring youth towards maturity in Christ, preparing them for works of service so that the body of Christ might be built up to the glory of God. Ephesians 4:12 Our youth face many difficulties and challenges as they grow up, and these difficulties are even greater for Christians. Unfortunately, there is very little support for the youth, with both the community and church generally offering criticism rather than constructive dialogue. Youth have many questions or issues they would like to ask, but feel they do not have the opportunity or freedom to do so. This program is to guide and instruct the youth on an ongoing basis and provide a forum for discussions and guidance on the real issues they face. This program is geared toward providing continuing and lasting support to the youth.
